Abstract
The article analyzes the current state of the pragmatic system within the context of digital communication and outlines prospects for its future development. In particular, it provides a scholarly examination of the impact of artificial intelligence technologies, generative text systems, and multimodal communication tools on the pragmatic system, as well as their influence on the semantics and functions of linguistic units.
